1 cup warm water (not too hot, about 40°C)
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast (1 packet)
1 teaspoon sugar (to activate yeast)
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil (adds flavor and crispiness)

Method
 

In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar, then let it sit for 5 minutes until slightly foamy.
    Add flour, salt, and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
      Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
        Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rest for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
          Preheat your oven to the highest temperature (250–300°C).
            Stretch the dough into a thin base for a thin crust pizza dough recipe or keep it thicker for deep dish pizza.
              Add toppings lightly to avoid sogginess.
