Ingredients
  

- 4 salmon fillets (150–180 g each, skin-on preferred)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1–2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (dill, parsley, or thyme) – optional

Equipment

  • Grill or Outdoor BBQ
  • Grill Pan (if cooking indoors)
  • Tongs
  • Wide Spatula (fish spatula preferred)
  • Small Bowl (for marinade)
  • Basting Brush
  • Paper Towels
  • Meat Thermometer (optional)

Method
 

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill grates.
    Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
      Brush salmon with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
        Place salmon on the grill skin-side down.
          Grill for 4–5 minutes without moving.
            Flip carefully and cook for another 2–4 minutes.
              Remove from the grill when the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
                Finish with lemon juice and fresh herbs if desired

                  Notes

                  - Do not flip the salmon too early to prevent sticking.
                  - Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
                  - Serve with grilled vegetables, salad, or rice.
