Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter – main filling ingredient
2 cups powdered sugar – adds sweetness and firmness
4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract – enhances flavor
2 cups chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white chocolate for coating)
Pinch of salt (optional, balances sweetness)

Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl For mixing peanut butter filling
  • 1 Spoon or Spatula To combine ingredients
  • 1 Parchment Paper Prevent sticking
  • 1 Microwave or Double Boiler For melting chocolate
  • 1 Fork or Dipping Tool For coating eggs
  • Optional Refrigerator To chill eggs

Method

In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and dough-like.
Scoop small portions of the mixture and roll into balls. Gently shape each ball into an oval egg form. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
Refrigerate the eggs for 30–45 minutes until firm.
Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler, stirring frequently.
Dip each chilled egg into melted chocolate using a fork or dipping tool. Return to parchment-lined tray.
Let the chocolate set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
Serve or store in an airtight container. Enjoy!

                Notes

                • Chill the filling longer if it’s too soft to shape.
                • Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor.
                • Sprinkle crushed nuts or drizzle colored candy melts for festive decoration.
                • These can be frozen up to 3 months; thaw in fridge before serving.
